Hello All
God is good.
Our little boy is 2 months old now, and growing and growing.
We are so blessed to have such a sweet & happy little boy. He wakes up with a smile everyday, and just loves to be around people. All you have to do to get a big "toothless" smile is say his name, and he grins from ear to ear. He's also cooing, holding his head up & just curious as ever to see the world.
It's funny, you can hear "they grow up so fast" so many times but it's only when you experience it that you finally get it. Tommy has grown out of his first set of clothes and is getting close to going through another. He's now almost 15 pounds and 23 inches long. It's hard to believe.
The picture below was taken Sunday he obviously wasn't too thrilled to be dressed up for church. I'm sure this is only the first of hundreds of days like that.."mom, don't make me wear that silly sweater!"

Oh well. I still get teary eyed when he's hurting, or just out of joy for him to be here with my husband and I. Life as we knew it is no longer, and to be honest I don't know if I remember life without him anymore. It seems as though little Tommy was always supposed to be here with us, in our arms.
The way I look at the world is so different now. Kids have always tugged at my heart strings, but now it is so magnified. They're so helpless & depend on us so much, I can't imagine letting a such little heart hurt.. ever.
Many blessings to you. May God Bless you.... Thank you for caring to read up on Tommy's progress & for being a part of Spirit 102.3. Without you, we couldn't do what we do.
